Four Pillars Distillery is located in Healesville, in Victoria's Yarra Valley, about an hour's drive from Melbourne, and was founded in 2013 by three friends. For the production of the Bloody Shiraz Gin, the Shiraz grapes are soaked in the Rare Dry Gin. The grapes steep in high-proof gin for eight weeks before being pressed. The gin immediately takes on a purple color, as well as a sweetness from the ripe grapes. Botanicals: juniper, pepper, Shiraz grapes, coriander, cardamom, cassia, anise, lavender, angelica, lemon, orange.
