This great grappa is the result of the distillation of the best marcs from the best areas of Monferrato. It is distilled in small stills in a bain-marie and then matures in barrels that were previously used to mature Demerara rum from French Guiana. The refinement or ageing takes place for 10 years in oak barrels.Tasting notes:Colour: dark amber. Nose: sweet, notes of chocolate, caramel, vanilla. Taste: Rounded, liqueur-like, rum aromas. Finish: Long lasting, smooth.
