Authentic and genuine - Clairin is a Haitian product made from sugar cane juice. Produced in small farms, with manual labour and tradition, Clairin shines with intense notes and genuine flavours.
Since 2016, bottlings with Clairin aged in oak barrels have been released - Velier's product range called "Clairen Ansyen".
The new barrel-aged version of Clairin Communal is a joint project of the four independent distilleries Vaval, Sajous, Casimir and Le Rocher.
For the Clairin Communal Ansyen, 15 different barrels are used, most of which were filled with rums from Bielle, Caroni, Mount Gay, etc., as well as for whisky.
Neither coloured nor sugared!
Bottled: 2020
Nose: Floral, intense aromas, tropical fruits.
Taste: Lush, floral, fruity, spicy, honey, herbs.
Finish: Long lasting, intense.
