Bere Barley is one of the oldest barley varieties from the UK and a very hardy grain. It takes a lot of effort and patience to understand and recognise this ancient barley variety. This single malt is 100% Bere Barley and was harvested in 2010. The 10-year ageing in first-fill American Oak ex-bourbon casks definitely makes this whisky special. The whisky is bottled with pure Islay spring water and contains no color additives and no cold filtration. Distilled: 2011 Bottled: 2021 Tasting notes:Colour: Gold.
