The Athrú whisky range is produced by the Lough Gill distillery in the Irish town of Silgo. Close to the city of Silgo is the 527 meter high table mountain "Ben Bulben" - this whisky series was inspired by him. His influence can be felt in every drop of whiskey. The Athrú ANNACOONA 14 Years Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey matures for 11 years in American oak casks. Additionally this whiskey also gets a 3 year finish in PX Oloroso sherry casks.Tasting notes:Colour: Bright amber. Nose: Dark chocolate, dried fruit, orange peel, spices.
