Ardbeg SCORCH Islay Single Malt Limited Edition 46% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Ardbeg SCORCH was released for Ardbeg Day 2021. Every year, the "Fèis Ile" festival is celebrated on the island of Islay. The Ardbeg brand plays a major role on the 620 km² island with 3228 inhabitants. According to legend, a fire-breathing dragon sits in Warehouse No. 3 and chars the cask lids and barrels. The only one who allegedly defies the dragon is the distillery's dog, Shortie. Through this interplay of fire and flavors, this special limited edition was created. The single malt matures in extra strongly charred bourbon barrels made of American white oak. Tasting notes:Colour: Light gold. Nose: Strong, smoke, soot, anise, saddle soap, sage, pines, briar wood. Taste: Oily, sweet smoke, charred oak, black liquorice, medicinal lozenges. Finish: Long lasting, slightly tarry.
